The Android SDK includes a mobile devices emulator –a
virtual mobile device that runs on your computer. The emulator lets you develop
and test Android applications without using a physical device.
Android Emulator is used to run, debug and test the
android application. If you don’t have the real device, it can be the best way
to run, debug and test the apps.
It uses an open source processor emulator technology
called QEMU.
In the given image, you can
see the sample android emulator image.
